Clubman S Wagon 3dr Man 1.6
The folk at Mini responded to claims the base car was a little tight inside by referring in part to the original British designers who had invented the Mini panel van. The result was the extended-wheelbase Clubman that retains the three door configuration but adds valuable interior space – particularly behind the rear seat - while retaining visual connections to the past. The Clubman is based on the current R56 Mini and is offered in both Cooper and Cooper S form. The latter gets the 125kW/220Nm supercharged 1.6-litre engine, and is available with manual or auto six-speed transmissions.
