GTi Hatchback 3dr Man 5sp 1.6T
The Peugeot 207’s arrival in 2007 proved that bigger is usually considered better as new models replace old. The 207 is close to the size of Peugeot’s iconic small car, the mid-1990s 306, and is part of a range that is plentiful, diverse and, at times, confusing. From base three-door hatch, the range extends to the 50-grand CC convertible. The 207 GTi is the cream on the hot-hatch cake, with 128kW and 240Nm slinging it to 100km/h a full second faster than the GT. Electronic trickery includes a “steering stability programme.” There’s also cruise control, five-CD stacker and leather/Alcantara seat trim.
